This virtual 12-week program of mind-body self-care practices will help you feel calmer, more in control of your Lymphedema, and help you build resilient, self-care strategies to get through life with more ease, more kindness, and more joy!

No pressure to be perfect, and no rules to break. Just simple, loving practices to find your balance with Lymphedema. Learning to work with your body, lighten your lymphatic load so your body can work smarter - not harder = better quality of life with Lymphedema.

What is different about my program?

I am teaching from the lived experience, through a holistic lens. I get Lymphedema challenges too. I once struggled with Lymphedema and I don’t now. I want to help you get to the same place on your terms.

My Lymphedema Self Care Qualifications

  • Registered Yoga Teacher, 200 Hr + Yin Yoga and Mindfulness Training.

  • Herbalist for 10+ years, who ran a successful natural skincare & tea company called PLANTiful Apothecary.

  • 100 Hr Ayurveda Training.

  • Living with Lymphedema for 40+ years.

  • Author & Speaker on Self-care for Lymphedema. I have presented at the Canadian Lymphedema Framework, LymphyCON, as well as BC, and Alberta provincial associations.

  • Patient Advocate voice for people with Lymphedema, currently working with a group of researchers at the University of Alberta on a North American project.

  • Patient Ambassador for Bauerfeind Curaflow Canada since 2023.

  • Certified Compression Garment Fitter with Bauerfeind.

MODULE 5

How to build a night time routine & why it’s important. Sleep is our Lymphatic reset button. Turn into the magic and learn to lighten your lymphatic load.

MODULE 2

Holistic Skincare for Lymphedema
Taking care of your skin with Lymphedema has many challenges. We will cover moisturizing choices, a swap this for that to reduce your toxin exposure in personal care products, how to prevent and get through cellulitis infections, and more.

MODULE 3

Compression - how to choose & style your compression, such as find shoes and clothing that work for you.
We will talk about daytime vs night time options, how to make it last the longest, what is layering, and how to know when you need to replace it or try something different.

MODULE 1

The Lymphatic System & Lymphedema from an Holistic perspective.
If you are new to Lymphedema, this will help answer your questions and for those familiar with ti, this module will give you another lens at how to look at the Lymphatics - they are so much more than our trash removal system. Come find out what traditional plant medicine, Ayurveda and Herbalism have other say!

MODULE 4

How to build a daytime self-care routine. Understand your self-care love language so you can pick strategies that you will enjoy as well as make an impact on your swelling.

MODULE 6

Creating space - Intermittent fasting and how it can help with Lymphedema.
There are many styles to fasting and experts out there which we will discuss. Find the type of fasts that are right for you and align with the moon cycle and your health goals.

MODULE 7

Movement is medicine - how and why it matters. This will help you breakdown stereotypes, talk about the role mindset plays in our movement, and learn ways to move that are best for you and bring you joy!

MODULE 8

Herbal care for Lymphedema - ways that herbs can be part of your everyday life from teas, tinctures, supplements, and in your meals. Learn about different categories of herbs from nerviness, adaptogens, tonics, restoratives, and lymphagogues.
